FAQ

Your Reiki Questions, Answered

What does Reiki feel like?

Everyone experiences reiki differently. Some might say they experience sensations like warmth, tingling, vibrations, or otherworldly spiritual experiences, like seeing visions or spirit guides. Others simply feel a sense of relaxation and bliss, similar to what you’d feel during a massage or acupuncture session.

Often, clients will settle into such a meditative state they may or may not have fallen asleep. In my experience, those receiving Reiki consistently result in feeling noticeably more rested and grounded after treatment.

DISTANCE REIKI

During a distance Reiki session, you stay nestled in your home (or anywhere around the world) while our practitioners work from the studio and will connect with your energy remotely. You’ll connect over the phone or video at the start of your session for a check-in and intention setting, then you will settle in to lay down comfortably for the duration of the session. You may receive a link to a music or meditation track to play during the session, if you like.

HANDS-ON HEALING

During a hands-on healing Reiki session, you will meet with your practitioner in person. After an initial check-in and intention setting, you will lay on the massage table to relax. Your practitioner will lightly place hands on your body in various placements to work with the Reiki energy.

Who can benefit from Reiki?

Quite simply, everyone. Reiki can be used to support any energetic imbalance, be it physical, mental, or emotional. Clients often begin Reiki healing with intentions to address anxiety, depression, stomach troubles, hormonal imbalances, pms, or to support healing a physical ailment or injury and find themselves and their body back in a state of balance and harmony.

…but do people actually like Reiki?

We’d say so, but we’ll let them tell you their experiences themselves. See what they said here.
